Marsha E. Swiss has a high level of knowledge and experience, having practiced in the the areas of estate planning and litigation for more than 40 years. Her academic credentials include an undergraduate degree from Swarthmore College and a law degree from The Harvard Law School. She draws upon a bedrock of knowledge in many fields including, but not limited to, negligence, contracts, immigration, domestic relations and business planning.
Admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in 1966, Marsha E. Swiss has nearly half a century of legal knowledge, and with a seasoned eye for detail, she examines and analyzes every facet of her clients’ estate and trust issues.
Rooted in the community
Attorney Swiss serves on the Advisory Committe of the DC Bar Foundation, which makes grants to legal service providers giving legal representation to needy and underserved members of the community.
She also belongs to the DC Estate Planning Council, an interdisciplinary professional organization dealing with complex estate and tax-planning issues, and is a member of the Friends Council at the Smithsonian Museum’s Freer and Sackler Gallery of Asian Art.
